We at P J Motorcycle Engineering offer what we think is the most advanced cylinder coating in England!
Most of today’s high performance moto-x, motorcycle, ATV’s and watercraft engines are using various coatings on their cylinder bore.
These coatings include Nickasil, ceramic composite, and chrome.
When your coated cylinder is worn or damaged it can’t be re- bored because the coating is very thin.
At this point you have three options:
1: Re-Coat The Cylinder
2: Re-Sleeve The Cylinder (Click Here For More Info)
3: Buy A New Cylinder ( In Most Cases To Expensive
The cylinder reconditioning process that we employ differs greatly from similar services offered by competitors. The competitions' process evolved from the shiney chrome business that hasn't changed since the turn of the century, our process originated in aerospace and is proven in Indy car and F-1 racing. Our process uses a proprietary formulation of ceramic composite. Every cylinder is diamond finished, the port edges are polished, the gasket surfaces are lapped on a surface plate, and the cylinder is thermal shock tested for plating adhesion.
Whether you ride moto-x, road race, trial or road bike’s our Ceramic coating can give your cylinder bore the ultimate armour
